You don't need Atlassian Intelligence to use Rovo, but it's highly recommended to enable it for the best results from Rovo's generative AI features. This allows you to fully leverage Rovo's capabilities for enhanced performance and decision-making.

Rovo's pricing is determined by the number of unique billable users and whether you opt for monthly or annual billing.

How does Rovo protect my company’s data?

Rovo processes user inputs to deliver the specific outputs requested. Additionally, it can access organizational data from your site that the user is authorized to view, combining it with the inputs to ensure AI-generated responses are accurate, relevant, and tailored to the context.

The large language model (LLM) providers Atlassian uses, such as OpenAI, do not use your data to improve their services. These providers also do not retain any of your data.

To further protect your data, Atlassian enforces strict policies for how customer information is handled within the platform. Inputs and outputs are solely used to enhance individual customer experiences—they are never used for training models across customers. This ensures your data remains secure and is only used to make your experience better.

Rovo is a cloud-only product, available for purchase on all plans. While Atlassian Intelligence isn’t required to use Rovo, it’s recommended to enable the features to unlock Rovo’s full potential. It’s important to note that Rovo is a separate product from other Atlassian tools and isn’t included with Premium or Enterprise Cloud plans, even if Atlassian Intelligence is enabled.
