Job Description

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the various sales function across the team, ensuring superior support to all members of the sales organization.

  • Assist Account Managers and Licensing Specialists with all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Assist in the development, deployment, and usage of customer communication formats (proposals, presentations, etc.) in conjunction with sales and marketing
  • Prepare and assist with Request for Proposals (RFPs) and assist with obtaining answers to Vendor Questionnaires
  • Responsible for maintaining integrity of Salesforce and Hubspot CRM data and processes
  • Sales reporting and analysis of all aspects of sales operations including pipeline, trends, and forecasting
  • Creating, updating, and maintenance of sales documentation, including tools and processes
  • Assist with yearly contract and service renewals  
  • Assist with managing lead flow and sales pipeline and effectively triaging inbound leads
  • Generate business through outbound lead activity and research companies to identify new prospects
  • Work closely with sales team to develop targeted lists, outreach strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Maintain a process-centric, metric and dashboard driven approach to managing sales data
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking activities to promote products and increase sales

Requirements

  • Thrives in a process centric, metric-driven environment
  • Experience in business development, operations, and/or sales
  • Background in selling products related to software development, technology management and delivery, and/or IT operations
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM Software (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and DevOps a plus
  • Resilient, problem-solving, self-learner 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects & meet deadlines
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or equivalent experience
